By Royal Appointment of the King, Voice of Peace—Ke Na Aliʻi Maluhia serves as the foremost voice of the Kingdom, guiding the Celestial Council, upholding tradition, and ensuring harmony, fairness, and integrity within its deliberations. As a trusted advisor to the Crown, this position represents the unified voice of the Council to the King and the people.
Beyond the chamber, Voice of Peace—Ke Na Aliʻi Maluhia oversees the Kingdom’s global network of Enlightened Peace Centers, providing spiritual, cultural, and operational guidance to ensure each center embodies the principles of aloha, pono, and lōkahi. Chosen for wisdom, eloquence, and integrity, Leo Maluhia inspires unity, fosters reconciliation, and safeguards the sacred mission of the Kingdom — cultivating peace, cultural understanding, and planetary well-being throughout the world.
The Responsibility of the Voice of Peace—Ke Na Aliʻi Maluhia:
- Presiding Authority: Convene and oversee all formal sessions of the Celestial Council, ensuring that discussions are conducted with dignity, respect, and adherence to established protocols.
- Voice of the Council: Serve as the principal representative and communicator of the Council’s decisions, declarations, and resolutions, both to the Crown and to the people of the Kingdom.
- Guardian of Order: Maintain the balance of discourse within the Council, recognizing members to speak, facilitating debate, and safeguarding the integrity of the decision-making process.
- Mediator of Deliberations: Guide dialogue toward consensus where possible, uphold fairness in the expression of diverse voices, and resolve disputes within the chamber with impartiality.
- Advisor to the Crown: When called upon, present the unified voice of the Council to the Sovereign, offering counsel, insight, and the collective will of the Council on matters of governance and policy.
- Custodian of Tradition: Uphold the spiritual and cultural dignity of the Celestial Council, ensuring that its proceedings reflect both the sacred heritage of the Kingdom and its ongoing responsibilities in governance.
- Steward of Global Enlightened Peace Centers: Oversee and guide all Global Hui Maluhia Hui Puʻuhonua—Enlightened Peace Centers established under the authority of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi throughout the world. Ensure that each center embodies the principles of aloha, harmony, and reconciliation, serving as beacons of peace, cultural understanding, and planetary well-being. The Voice of Peace shall provide direction, coordination, and oversight to align the work of all Peace Centers with the Kingdom’s vision of global unity and the restoration of balance among nations.
The Voice of Peace—Ke Na Aliʻi Maluhias shall be a person of wisdom, eloquence, and integrity, chosen for their ability to:
- Speak with clarity and authority on behalf of the Council.
- Demonstrate impartiality and fairness in the conduct of Council business.
- Embody the values, traditions, and spiritual dignity of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi.
- Inspire unity within the Council and confidence among the people.
- Guide the worldwide network of Peace Centers in alignment with the Kingdom’s sacred mission of peace and harmony.
