Some ministry names are subject to change until the Kingdom organization is complete.
The Kingdom Ministries are the principal bodies of governance established under the authority of the Crown. Each ministry is entrusted to a steward whose kuleana (responsibility) is to oversee a specific realm of the Kingdom’s affairs—such as foreign relations, education, licensing, and other areas vital to the well-being of the people. Acting in service to the monarch and the nation, the ministries ensure that royal policies are carried out with wisdom, balance, and respect for Hawaiian culture and tradition.
Together, they form the backbone of the Kingdom’s administration, uniting the strength of aliʻi leadership with the needs of the lāhui (the people). In service to the restoration and governance of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi, these Twelve Areas of Focus establish the foundation for national stability, prosperity, and unity.
Each ministry operates under the guiding principles of sovereignty, stewardship, and service—upholding the dignity of the Hawaiian people and the sacred duty to mālama the land, its resources, and future generations. They are charged to act with transparency, integrity, and accountability, ensuring that every decision honors the natural environment, cultural heritage, and the enduring spirit of aloha.
Together, the ministries form a comprehensive framework for governance that balances modern administration with ancestral wisdom and the divine order upon which the Kingdom stands.
With the establishment of these Twelve Areas of Focus and their respective ministries, the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi affirms its enduring commitment to righteous governance, environmental guardianship, and the welfare of all its people. Guided by wisdom, unity, and aloha, each ministry shall carry forth its kuleana in harmony with the will of the Kingdom and the Creator who blesses these islands.
May this alignment serve as a living covenant—uniting tradition and innovation, and ensuring that the sovereignty and spirit of Hawaiʻi endure for generations to come.
