His Majesty King Edmund K. Paki-Silva II, Sovereign Monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi, has appointed Jessica Ashe as the first Minister of Foreign Affairs. In this distinguished role, Minister Ashe will serve as the chief diplomat of the Kingdom, fostering respectful international relationships, strengthening cultural and economic ties, and advancing the Kingdom’s voice on the world stage.

The Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs will carry forward the Kingdom’s mission to serve God, unite people, and preserve our land and heritage by promoting goodwill and cooperation with other sovereign nations, Indigenous peoples, and international organizations.

Minister Ashe brings to this sacred kuleana (responsibility) a steadfast commitment to peace, diplomacy, and the values of aloha. Her work will honor the legacy of the Hawaiian Kingdom while building new bridges of mutual respect and understanding with our global partners.

As the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi continues to restore its rightful place among the family of nations, the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs will stand as a beacon of unity, representing the Hawaiian Nation with dignity, integrity, and compassion.
